Two finishes to choose between — smooth matte, or painted ash where the woodgrain whispers through — across shaker, in-frame and slab styles. The standard palette runs to 32+ shades, from Porcelain and Cashmere through Sage, Reed and Heritage Green to Marine, Graphite and Cannon Black; the colour-match service will meet any BS or RAL reference beyond it. How to choose a colour you’ll still love in ten years.
Start with the light. North-facing rooms warm up beautifully under Cashmere, Shell, Stone or Reed Green, while south-facing rooms can carry cooler greys and deeper blues without going cold. Look at your floor and worktop first — colour is easier to choose last, not first.
Two-colour kitchens work best with a clear hierarchy: pale perimeter, deeper island, or the other way round. Let one shade be the quiet one. And take sample doors home from the showroom — a colour behaves differently on your wall at seven in the evening than it does under our lights at noon.

Can you match Farrow & Ball or Colourtrend shades?
Yes, by colour reference: bring us the BS or RAL reference for the shade you love — or the lid of the tin — and the collection is matched to it. Anything on the standard 32+ palette is straightforward paint-to-order.
Smooth or woodgrain?
Smooth matte gives crisp, contemporary colour with nothing to distract from the line of the door. Painted ash leaves a fine woodgrain visible under the colour, which reads warmer and more traditional. Both are available across most painted ranges — handle a sample of each at the showroom.
What are Express colours?
Express shades are popular colours held pre-finished on selected ranges, so they run on a shorter lead time than paint-to-order. If your building programme or move-in date is tight, we’ll show you what’s available in Express first.
